Family Picnic at Davis Hill School

Carter had a family picnic on a beautiful Friday night at his school. We brought our own hot dogs and pasta salad picnic while on of Carter's friends Dad played tunes for everyone! We really love the family feel of Carter's school. We have been told that the school accross the street from us doesn't have quite as much family things so we are bummed but we surely enjoyed our year at Davis Hill. Carter is really into hockey b/c of the Bruins playoff season and now he understands baseball more than ever before b/c of him playing T-ball.

Daisy enjoyed the bubble table and liked making "big" bubbles!

Carter and his friend, Will waited in line for their turn at the dunk tank. Their hair color and texture is so slose that I actually hugged Will instead of Carter right after I took this picture (How embarrassing for Carter! At least they are young and he knows me from T-ball and playdates!)

Cora truely is our freespirit and really tries to keep up with all of us! She is soooooooooooooo happy!!!!! And makes us all laugh!

Here is one of those moments when I wanted a picture of me being a mama b/c Cora had smudged her face paint on my arm.... we where sharing rainbows but you can't really tell in this pic. (Zoom Kevin, Zoom!!!!)

McRell's Memorial Day Camping Trip 2011

So we made it up to NH for the annual McRell's Memorial Day Camping Trip!!!! The weather was hot! 89 degrees at the bank sign on the way up! Needless to say it was a "beautiful, sweat, sunny day" (Daisy told me this as we were inside the tent setting up the air mattresses and beds!)

Snow-gloo

With the large amount of snow we have been getting and the freezing temps(it was -7 when I drove home from work this am) Kevin and Carter had the perfect canvas to make an igloo right out our back door! It is really cool with three tunnels going in and big enough for one kid to sit in! And we are getting more snow this week! Crazy!!!! But I am not complaining!

Buckley and Buttercup

We have two new additions! We adopted two cats a week ago and they are getting lots of love and attention! Buckley is a 2 yo male that is truly a LOVE! As you can see he has stollen Daisy's heart and he is my shadow! Buttercup is a 1 year old "MissKitty"... she was recently fixed and we are working on getting her weight up but she is gaining already! She too is very sweet but has taken a liking to Kevin and sleeping in the doll bed in the girls room! Cora wakes up every morning saying her first sentence "I like that kitty!" We are such a kitty family! No getting away from it for too long!
