she loves her daddy...

Daisy just loves her Daddy... not sure what it is but every night when we are on winding down on the couch or hanging out in the office doing crafts for me, finances for Kevin she just loves being held by Kevin... she gazes at him with her big eyes and just follows him around the room... it is so precious!... he seems to enjoy it too!

1 month old...

this week Daisy turned one month old and over night she seems so much bigger... not just in size but awareness... when Carter is moving around her she turns and looks at him and will track him... she gets her hands out of her cocoon of a baby wrap at night... she loves watching her daddy, she just stares at him when he holds her... she is getting more accustom to her eat, awake and sleep cycle... she slept 6 hrs one night this week!... and last but not least she is more beautiful than ever...

visitors...

Dave, Jayme and the kiddos came to visit on Monday and we have been busy all week having fun... we went to Chucky Cheese and Moes on Tuesday night... shopping on Wednesday (fun for Mom and Jayme)... to the park... watched Strawberry Shortcake and Toy Story... and lots of pictures... Dawson is getting so big and cute... Daisy looks small compared to him... Giuliana and Carter have tons of fun together... she really enjoys him but they do have their occasional upset over sharing a toy or something... basically she wore Carter out... he was so exhausted by the end of the week... so today was a day to rest and relax... good naps... and to bed on time.. I will post new pictures of Daisy soon... I feel like she has changed a lot this week

at 2 weeks...

our little Daisy is sleeping up to 51/2 hours at night... still eating every 2-3hours during the day... smiled at her big brother a couple of times... has found the ceiling fans and loves to gaze at them... has reached out to grab certain objects like a butterfly on the quilt hanging over the changing table... she picks her head up off your shoulder to look at you... needs to gain a couple more ounces by tomorrow before we are done with weight checks even though she is already a "big" girl... she is bring joy to all of us and entertaining us as we heal from this icky virus... she has won our hearts!

Princess Daisy...

Aunt Em your package came today!.. so now I am officially a princess!... it feels good knowing I will be the most cherished in this house... that I am special and unlike any other... that I will always be beautiful and loved... admired by others... this pretty much is my reality at this point... my only complaint in life is when my hat slips over my eyes... then I get.. well not so pretty!

I finally got around to editing some pictures of Daisy's birthday and I love the way this picture turned out... it was very dark and you couldn't see our faces at all but with the autofix our faces come to life and there is so much emotion in this picture of our little family... I just love it!

sicky in the house...

Carter has some sort of virus... stomach bug with a fever... it has been hard with the two kids the past few days... Carter has needed extra attention but Daisy has been great through this all... she is a trooper... interrupted feedings, being thrown (not literally) into her infant seat and sharing her mother's love with her big brother... she has been sleeping better at night too! .. now we are just praying the rest of us don't get it... we will see!
