Eric Carle Museum....

today (wow two post in one day! and this is about something we did today not three weeks ago!) we went with our friends Henry and Nora (and parents) to the Eric Carle Museum in Hardwick... it was a beautiful drive and the kids were pretty good... except Carter at the park but we won't mention it!... I have been wanting to get there for a long while and was really happy we went... the kids loved the movie about "The Very Hungry Catepillar" and they loved the open hallway to run in... there were books everywhere for them to read but the very best part was making our own art to take home... we had a wonderful time!reading area

Daisy and Nora looking at a book together

running in the hall... I love Daisy at the bottom of this one... sometimes I think we should never fo out into public... but then we do and we all survive!

learning how mixing color make new colors... even Cora liked this exhibit!

Daisy loved the painting
and the turtle she found in the play area

look who's sitting up!

Daisy found the Black sheep from "Brown Bear, Brown Bear"

the boys are being some sort of Super Hero!

All in all it was a wonderful day but now I am all blogged out... Peace!

Ohio....

We had a wonderful visit out to Ohio to go to My cousin Brian's Wedding Reception... and to visit with close and extended family! It was a wonderful time... here are some pictures...

We went to the Cleveland Zoo with Aunt Barb, Aunt Cyndy, Melissa and her boyfriend Mark... we even went to this awesome dinosaur exhibit.... it was like a walking into Jurassic Park... well sort of but not so scary....

Cora at her first Cheerios! And was held by lots of family!

We went for ice cream....Picked corn from Great Grandma's garden...

Took some pretty pictures...
but most importantly we hung out with this special lady....the kids were great for the ride out... just a few new car toys and they were fine.... you just never know but it was definitely doable... we will have to do it again!

inspiring....

love this because you never know what you'll find on Cora's bum!.. Pamper... BumGenius.... Gdiaper... she even wore one of Daisy's pull-up the last two hours home from Ohio.... Oops! needed to do laundry...

a day at sea....

Kevin and I had the chance to get away for a night and do on Uncle Rick and Aunt Wendy's 36ft sail boat... It is down in Fairhaven, MA and we took a day sail across Buzzard's Bay... the wind was light and we cruised at a slow speed (our mas was about 5.9 knots)...

Kevin was captain and steered for a little bit! It was soooooooooo relaxing and amazing! Here Uncle Rick and Aunt Wendy are working as team to get the sails in...
It was a wonderful time and we actually look like we belong in this summer season (ie. we have a slight tan!).... Thank you once again Wendy and Rick! We really enjoyed the day!
